When buying or selling preowned items, you need to always check to make sure that the item did not have a recall first.
Sellers MUST check for recalls - it is the law.

A good place to check is

Calling the company direct (or checking their website) and giving them a model number is always a good idea too.

If you ever have a need to replace a missing part of a toy or piece of baby equipment, try calling the company
and ask if they have a replacement you can buy.  Little Tikes(call the number printed on the toy)  even sells
replacement stickers! This always helps an older item look new again!  Most manufacturers now have web sites
where you can order replacements if needed.
